Garden & Plants

I have always loved plants, especially trees. As a young boy I tried to grow “Bonsai” trees by transplanting small saplings into pots. I did not have much success keeping them alive then and wondered why. As an adult I took up bonsai as a hobby and learned how to keep trees alive in pots. There are some secrets to doing this. I was a member of the Syracuse Bonsai Club until I moved out of the Syracuse area. I have had up to about 200 trees in pots at one time attempting to create bonsai trees. I have been trying to see how many different species of trees I can keep alive in pots.
