Post a comment/question and we will try to address it:
often times, the hold, call, skip buttons do not appear on the screen and I can’t take a tile another player has discarded. They buttons pop up occasionally but mostly are not there. I have chosen “on” for the auto hold and skip buttons but they are still not appearing on the screen. I can’t play the game if I am unable to take discarded tiles from other players. Thank you.
Thank you for your comment.
You are correct, there is a bug with the auto Hold function. It is not holding when it should, it just shows the Hold button, does not give you enough time to press it, then skips calling. With auto hold ON, it is supposed to hold when you can call a tile, without you having to press hold. We do not play with auto hold ON, so I did not catch that bug.
The game knows what tiles are in your hand and what tiles you are able to call (take). You can only call a tile if you can make a set of 3 (or more) of that tile. The game will not show the hold, skip, and call buttons if you would not be able to call the tile. Please pay close attention to what tiles you can call and if, with auto skip OFF, you do not get the hold and skip buttons for a tile you can call, let us know. You should turn off auto skip if the game is skipping (not letting you call) tiles you want. You can turn off auto skip from the menu. With auto skip on, the hold and skip buttons will not be shown unless you can call the tile AND it is needed for one of the best hands you can make. Auto skip ON is intended for advanced players who are not likely to want to have auto hold ON and are likely to be making one of the best hands.
If the buttons are shown for every tile discarded and you are given time enough to select the buttons, the game would be much slower. I was originally going to have it work this way for the beginner level. I will add a way to a let beginners try to call every tile discarded. But then if you try to call something you can’t call, then the game will say you can’t call it & let you cancel the call. If you continue to try to call the tile when you can’t, the game will then call you “dead”.
So, for now, try turning auto hold OFF and auto skip OFF and watch if it does not let you call a tile you should be able to call. Please let me know if you have a problem with both of these set to OFF. You might want to slow the game down some so you have more time to check if you can call a discarded tile.
I will work on fixing the auto hold problem. The update will be in version 9.7.10 & I will try to have it available in the next couple of days. The update will go back to my original plan of letting beginners try to call every tile, even when they can’t. If you try to call a tile that you can’t call, you will have to press “Done”, get a message saying you can’t call with <3 in a set, then cancel the call, and then press skip instead of call.
Thank You,
John
I cannot find any links or information on establishing an account that allows me to log in to the game with a dedicated username and password.
Just tell me what account name you want and I will make it for you. You set your own password after you log in.
How do I request an account?
Hi Cathy, just post a comment or send email with the account name you want. You can also now use the guest accounts with any profile name you select. Almost the same as your own account. You only really need your own account if you are going to be playing other real players.
