Not a choice, but in some ways is satisfying to do your civic duty. I had a intense experience as a juror on the below trial. I have mixed feelings about the judicial system. Going through this experience made me want to develop an app to help jurors evaluate evidence and help determine if the evidense shows the claims are “More likely than not.” I have done work developing classification algorithms based on Dempster-Shafer theory.
